Ciaran and Nicola - Plough Inn Wedding

Wishing a huge congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Ruttledge!

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful wedding set in beautiful rural Cheshire last week.

The wedding celebrations began at the bride’s family home in Wilmslow, where family and friends had gathered to prepare for the big day.

Once final preparations had been completed it was off to the Plough Inn where the rest of this special day would be taking place. The Plough Inn itself is a beautiful 15th-century inn with an attached medieval oak barn the perfect setting for such a special occasion.

A personal touch to this day was the brother of the bride playing guitar and singing while Nicola made her entrance to the ceremony.

Once the ceremony had been completed the newly married couple made their way out of the venue for a short set of group shots.

Before we continued onto the wedding breakfast we were able to find some time away for a cheeky portrait session. I feel we were able to capture some wonderful moments which showed off their love for each other!

The guests were certainly not short of confetti and so both Nicola and Ciaran took a celebratory stroll through a long row of loved ones to be bombarded then headed indoors for the speeches and to enjoy some wonderful food.

The guests gave the bride and groom one of the most welcoming cheers as they entered as a now-married couple. The speeches were very touching and put everyone in the mood to dance and it must be said, there was no shortage of bodies on the dance floor. Nicola requested a nightlife style of images which I was more than happy to deliver and I cannot wait to share the full set of photographs and wish them both the very best for their future as Mr and Mrs Ruttledge.
